Multi Prefix

Multi Prefix [Paid] 2.16.3

No permission to buy ($30.00)
@Xon, when selecting prefixes for a new thread, I'm unable to use my scroll wheel on my mouse to scroll to different prefixes and have to click the scroll bar to drag it. Is there an easy fix for this?
the scroll bars are def annoying yes....i wish it would lay out the choices in a proper grid style rather than a single column with scroll bars oof

What browser? Works for me on Chrome/Windows

It is using select2 to provide the 'smart' select menu. You'd basically need to fully rewrite how the prefixes are selected to offer that

I'm also using Chrome on Windows 10. No other problems have been noticed with scrolling with the mouse wheel except for the prefixes. I also just tried the Edge browser and it doesn't scroll, either.

Is there a demo or screenshot of this so I can take a look please? I am looking to purchase!
https://xf2.nixfifty.com/ has multiprefix stuff setup :)

@Xon, I changed to a completely default theme with no mods and I'm still unable to use the scroll wheel on my mouse. Any suggestions?
I've managed to replicate this. It is a scroll wheel inside a prefix group, XF introduced some CSS in XF2.1 which impacted MultiPrefix.

There seems to be a conflict between this and @Snog's Game thread starter add-on (and possibly others?). In particular, the "Quick new thread" functionality.
  • A second "prefix" input box appears shortly after making the "TGDb link" field active.
  • Regardless of combinations between the two prefix boxes, no prefixes are saved.
    • If a "minimum prefix count" is set, the thread is rejected.

I'll play around with execution orders, and other obvious things to see if I can resolve it, but thought I would bring to your attention.

Thanks.

The 2nd is a known issue with other add-ons which extend posting threads. I need to rebuild how prefix validation works so it isn't enforced on the entity but in the new thread/edit thread service. I'm fairly busy with other work so it hasn't been a priority

This is something I MIGHT be able to take care of in my add-on. I'll have a look sometime today.

I would have to add code for the mulitple prefixes to my add-on.

Multi Prefix support is added to the next release of the Game thread starter.

The other problem of two inputs is something Xon and I may need to work together on.

This is also something I can take care of in my add-on. It will be in the next release.

Also, sorry for jumping in this add-on's thread if anyone is offended.
