Moving from vB4+vBSEO to Xenforo

Hi!

I'm the admin of a big forum actually powered by vBulletin 4 that uses vBSEO plugin to improve the SEO aspects of the board.

In particular, we use vBSEO also for the URL rewriting, to make more SEO-friendly our links.

We use a format like:
http://www.mydomain.com/forum/section-name-id (for sections/categories)
http://www.mydomain.com/forum/section-name-id/thread-name-id.html (for threads)

Now, I want to know, before switching from vB4 to Xenforo, if there is something possible to mantain our SEO-friendly url or at least make some redirection from the old to the new urls, because we don't want to un-index our forum from Google

Any solution to this?

Is the "id" part of your urls numerical?

If so then yes, re-writing them is easy.

With a .htaccess rewrite which will pick up that ID and forward it on.
