I'm currently running dual 20-inch widescreens, but am running out of pixel room. I've narrowed it down to the following choices, but need a few last opinions before I pull the trigger.

My workday consists of many hours in Lightroom, Photoshop and Zend Studio, which results in a lot of two-window workspaces. One for editing and one for review.

I think you need an additional set of eyes at this point :D

I mean .. how much can you cope with ?

I'm looking to replace my 20-inch setup, not add to it ;)

I would go for a dual monitor setup and ensure one of them can be used in portrait mode.

I have a 24-inch now but the next one will be a 30-inch. Kinda have double monitor when connected to my MB pro, but I never work on two monitors, one is enough.

I ended up going with a HP 30 inch LCD. I decided that for my line of work, a larger single workspace would be better than two smaller workspaces. IMG_1276.jpg

That's exactly what I do, I have a square 17 or 19 inch monitor and a wide screen in portrait mode.
