merging 2 forums

Hi all,

I currently have an actice xenforo and vbulletin license.

Both of them are in use, however the xenforo forum is dead it's my fault.
Now i would like to have my vbulletin posts merged with my xenforo forum.
My members prefer XenForo cool huh

Is that in any way possible?

You can import the vBulletin forum into the XenForo forum.

Make sure you take a backup of your XenForo forum before you do, just in case you need to restore for any reason.

Okay a few extra questions:

Some users are the same if i import and there are users with the same name what happens?
I have imported a vbulletin forum to xenforo in the past, but not an import in allready live board.

Will posts be overwritten?

I'll backup the database and do some tests, it's not that active anyway

From the manual:
XenForo does not permit the same name or email address to be used for more than one user, so you will be required to confirm what to do in the case of any affected users. The options available are to merge them or rename and change the email address.

You can import as many forums as you wish into the same XenForo forum.

I successfully imported an old vB database and my live IPB forum db. When it comes across identical names it gives you the option to merge or rename the accounts. Worked great.
