    Hi all,

    How can the menu be disabled/hidden in the responsive design?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Why would you want to remove it? Without menu users on mobile devices won't be able to use parts of forum.

    The drop-down menu obscures an ad.

    Then its a problem with ad code, not with menu. Probably its floating without proper clearing. Wrap your ad code in div with style="overflow:hidden".

    Thank you for the suggestion, Arty.

    I would prefer to hide the menu. Is this possible?

    Drop down menus always obscure something unless you just leave a big blank space, but it's only temporary. Surely this is better than users not being able to navigate.

    The navigation isn't really required.

    Solution:

    navigation template.

    Code:
    <!-- responsive popup -->
            <li class="navTab navigationHiddenTabs Popup PopupControl PopupClosed" style="display:none">

                <a rel="Menu" class="navLink NoPopupGadget"><span class="menuIcon">{xen:phrase menu}</span></a>

                <div class="Menu JsOnly blockLinksList primaryContent" id="NavigationHiddenMenu"></div>
            </li>
