Yes I am asked for hide this result from Dead link check when using selection criteria because page do AJAX refresh all time. Can add check box the results show or not. Using JavaScript or cookies are not good idea, I think. As we'll you are developer for this add-on and we know the best method for this functionality. I will put my own opinion. Thanks for your great improvements for this add-on.

There are AJAX requests, that have to run to update the criteria form (e.g. when you change tag type or content type, the form updates). You are right, there is a separate AJAX to update the content list as well, and of course, whichever method we implement, the ajax query will not run if the list should not be shown.

The list is there as it allows to select only some tags and check their status, which I believe can be useful for many admins.

Yes it's useful for some tags and Please don't hide this results without checkbox because when we need show this results then need to remove cookie or cache, removing cookies or cache also remove login stage. I hope you're understand.

Sure, it will be implemented appropriately.

Thank you!

Unfortunately, this information is not enough to troubleshoot the issue. 403 Forbidden error is very likely not connected with site overload. Please contact us via a Support Ticket and we will troubleshoot it further and try to understand if the issue is connected with our add-on.

Thank you!

I am personally working on XenForo from the first day it was released, didn't just seen some the add-ons installed, but implemented hundreds of features and enhancements to many of them for private customers, checking and understand every bit of code of that add-ons. So, whatever information we share with you here is well-though and confirmed with years of experience, so please try to understand it in all details instead of just replying back and just forcing your opinion.
Thank you for sharing more information about your credentials.
I was under the impression that Addonslab was new (registered in 2016) but you have been working with xenforo addons from 2010.
What previous account were you using here? What past work on XF did you do?

Thank you for the question.

Yes, I was working as a co-founder and lead developer of another company, which I left in 2016. I agreed not to disclose the reason or the fact of leaving the company I was working on, which is the reason I can not provide any further information here.

Thank you!

Had same problem yesterday, could not reach the forum or my server but then when reindexing. After 2 hours it came back online (when it was done).

Is there any chance you checked xf_deferred table when the site was down? Did it have too many entries in it? We did not reproduce any particular bug yet, and would like to understand, is it only one cron task making the server overloaded or the system queues too many queries, that run together and cause the issue.

We are working on reproducing the situation locally and check this further and will update here, if we find any particular bug.

Thank you!

Do you mean the add-on affects site performance in general? @dutchbb , did you reproduce performance issues out of process of checking dead links?

As I understand, the issue affects only the cron job mode. If you will be running a re-check, please use the browser mode, and let us know, if you see the same performance issues in this mode.

There where no entries, i was reindexing all the tags/links because i uploaded a lot of extra hotlinked images so i could check and remove the rest after. Before indexing went perfect (fist version). Now (also when removing tags) it just says processing the whole time.

Also no error in logs, when i tried to reach the forum or my server it said connection taking to long. I could connect with ftp.

Thank you for the information. Please do not use the indexation or dead link check, for now, we are working on it to reproduce the issue and fix it.

Thank you!

There where no preformance issues when checking dead link, server load was normal. My issue was with the rebuilt of index. I think it has something to do with the cron job you added because first version worked perfect.

Just want to inform, that the product passes all automatic and manual tests, so there does not seem to be some specific bug, that prevents it from working. Now are generating random to test the product with a large amount of information and see if we can reproduce the issue.

Thank you!
