Link Checker for XenForo 2.x by AddonsLab

Link Checker for XenForo 2.x by AddonsLab [Paid] 4.1.1

No permission to buy ($54.99)
@AddonsLab is there any possibility to whitelist certain forums?
For example, if a post is reported and a mod soft-deletes the post, we'd like to keep the post link on the report.

The addon just scans all links without allowing you to decide what forums should be scanned or ignored.

You’re funny, that was just an example. It’s about the comma in the URL. If the add-on’s Regex isn’t designed for that, it will cause an error. These pages belong to a large classifieds marketplace, and there are tens of thousands of pages accessible. But the add-on claims that they are dead. So, either there’s something wrong with the server of this classifieds marketplace, or it’s the add-on.

XenForo, for example, used to struggle with characters like ö, ä, ß, ü, so it’s likely that AddonsLab didn’t bother with a stupid comma that a stupid classifieds marketplace uses in its stupid URLs.

1. You may want to check your text here:

Pricing

Add-on costs $34.99 USD that includes one year of support and updates with permanent access to product versions released in license validity period. Yearly extension costs $25.00 USDThe add-on has a visible branding with a link to our website which can be removed for additional $15.00 USD payment.

2. You may have an idea why links with a comma are shown as dead?

Moderation queue shows some links, i dont want to delete.
But the system says they are dead. They are not dead.
Now i can choose nothing or delete, but this is wrong! My queue will be filled fast with useless information.
There must be:
Do nothing
Delete
Delete url/post from queue!

Do you usually reply a question with another question?

If you are a valid user then use the designed ticket system by the developer. He can't provide support to unlicensed members so maybe that's the reason why he doesn't monitor this thread or your questions.

I respond as I please. Otherwise, it's not my job to visit the providers' websites to point out the errors in their software. There is this forum, and in my view, all issues and errors belong right here so that as many people as possible who are interested can see them. If you see it differently, that's your choice, not mine.

If a provider doesn't care about what's written here, then that's their business. If I need personal support, I might use a ticket system with providers, but I will always report errors and issues here.

And if this program can't handle commas in URLs or has problems with Twitter, that may be a personal issue, but it's still a flaw in the program. If the provider doesn't care, then they don't care; if they do, they'll fix it. Alternatively, there needs to be an add-on for the add-on.

The same goes for the fact that there are only two radio buttons and not three. If you want to work with the queue, it's not well implemented or it's an oversight or a flaw in the process.

I'm sure that you surely just wanted to help and meant well.

I've done my part by reporting errors; the rest is up to others to resolve.

Does this work with external links used by XFRM External downloads url? I primarily use External downloads url in XFRM, sometimes links die after a while and for me to check over 450+ links everyday is a headache. I mean, usually I wait until a user reports a dead link, but id very much like to know if links are dead automatically.

Please let me know if this add-on can be used with " XFRM External Download Urls ".

When I use the filter in the action log, its only giving me a list of 20 logs and the pagination lists the same logs each time. Any fix?

Unfortunately, it does not work for External downloads URLs. Feel free to contact us at Submit Ticket - AddonsLab if you are interested in funding the project.
