XF 2.2 Line 27: Syntax error - Template modifications: public:node_list_forum (on all themes)

on node_list_forum doesnt matter if its on the default vanilla xenforo theme or a custom theme that i just downloaded from the resources, every time i try to save temlate node_list_forum i get (Line 27: Syntax error - Template modifications: public:node_list_forum)

i have not touched this template before not sure what the issue is i am getting no errors in the admin error dashboard so kinda at a loss on what to do.



(i figured out the issue thanks to Russ thread can be removed.)

If it's on all styles, it's probably an add-on (unless you modified the master style somehow).

Go to Template modifications and look for any modifications targeting "node_list_forum", disable and see if that helps.

how would one find modifications targeting "node_list_forum" via the search, novice question i just dont typically modify anything.

edit: i think i figured it out on the modification templates.

Appearance -> Template modifications -> Use the filter box on the top right. Type the template name. You probably have an add-on that's causing the issue (or 2 add-ons clashing)

yes thank you definitely an addon causing it, the issue now is finding which one out of the handful (like 5)

i think it was two addons causing it, not going to reinstall them but it is now saving. (two custom addons)
