@XenSoluce I'm using the latest version of this addon on XF 2.3. Is the thread meta data title being used when using a macro with a direct message?
I suspect not.
The thread title text used to be brought in to the new direct message as the message title. It is not any more.
It would be nice if it did.

Unfortunately it's not made for that, it would be better to create another category especially for that (Direct message, the thread is not the DM.

Look for the following:
1. Post macro permissions (in terms if you have permissions to even use macros)
2. Is there any macros made and assigned to you? Have you also enrolled them?
3. Any edits made to the editor? (Unlikely but if the addon has been setup correctly, and the addon isn't bugged, I'd look at this)

@XenSoluce this addon used to populate the DM title but a recent update has removed that. Not sure which update. Is it possible to restore this feature please?

Minor issue, but the version names don’t match.

We haven't removed anything. I think I already had a conversation about this company, but it never worked. I tested it with older versions and it didn't work. But maybe it's something else.

It absolutely used to work at some point. We use it regularly to DM competition winners with a pre-defined message and the title used to populate the new DM title field. Is it possible to investigate making it work, do you think, please?

Brilliant, thanks. Could you use the Thread Meta Data -> Title field? That's what used to work.
Correct. I think a lot of people use this addon. Though it's likely to be redundant in 2.4 as I think they are incorporating the functionality.
