No permission to download
Hello,

Hi, im getting this error after last update

  • Error: Macro public:liamw_postmacros_macro_list_macros :: liamw_postmacros_macro_list_block() error: Call to a member function canUse() on null
  • src/addons/LiamW/PostMacros/Entity/Macro.php:160
Sorry for the long wait for this update, but it should be fixed. Let me know if it's still not the case, or if you encounter any other problems!
Thanks for reporting this error!

Carlos, please install Elastic Search in your forums so we can search for words with less characters

After the upgrade to XF 2.2.16 I noticed that when I clicked on the INSERT MACRO icon, the system brought up the menu, but it also highlighted a blank line that went through the drop-down menu. And when I clicked on the macro I wanted, I got TWO macros.

can you give me more details with a video or screenshot(s)?

Hi there!

First of all, great addon. It is EXTREMELY useful. It allows teams to ensure quality replies alongside professionalism with minimum amount of work.

I do have one suggestion though! I think it would be extremely helpful to have a setting for macros to only show up in certain subforums. For example, staff members may have macros that are for Support, these macros would only show up in the support subforums.

It's a simple modification that for sites with over 30 macros, can hugely benefit from. It would make it faster to find the macro that you are looking for. I feel like this would be ideal for macros setup in the Admin Control Panel.

Apart from that, amazing addon. Crucial to have for majority of forum sites!

Hello there, that idea is a good one, we'll see what we can do about this! ;)

Hi, I downloaded from your site 5.3.0 so are you saying I should not run this on 2.2.9?

is there access to a version that can run on 2.2.9? Thanks!

Hi there! We have been using {+?id 1} in macro content to move the thread to another subforum, this is a great feature that makes thing simpler.

However, we are wondering if there is something similar for prefixes as when you click the macro and then delete the content (due to either changing their mind, or a misclick on the macro), it still applies the prefix that was assigned to the previous macro

If such a thing doesn't exist, it might be a good idea to either add one or to only apply the prefix when sending the macro, rather than clicking on it.

If not, that's fine! No worries.

Hello,

Indeed, once you have inadvertently clicked on a macro, it will automatically apply the macro prefix once the message is submitted, unless you refresh the page.
