Lack of interest iPhone/Android App?

#1
Please consider adding an iPhone app so a user can quickly read a forum using your software. There are other apps out there, but often require forum owner to add code...

Would be great to have this right at the launch.

This has been suggested many many times... /me goes to look for links

Hmm I can't find the specific thread that suggested this now so maybe I was mistaken... Here are some similar dicussions though where iPhone apps are discussed.

A mobile skin would be great since the time will come where more users will be accessing the internet via a mobile device than via a desktop computer.

I've been accessing XenForo.com via an Android-powered Dell Streak over the last week or so and I have to say it worked great.

Virtually no difference to my desktop in look and feel.

Even the moderator functions and overlays all worked :)

Looks nice, but is it mobile ?

In size order (left to right): HTC Legend, iPhone 3GS, HTC Incredible, Dell Streak, PSP1000

Does it fit in your pants pocket ?

I was thinking of getting a Portrait QWERTY slider.
Maybe a Dell Venue Pro (sadly I have a few apps on WM I can't give up !)

Most smart phones can handle XenForo completely fine, some features are annoying such as the pop up menus but it's a good design over all. With that said I have been slowly developing a mobile skin, not of A+ quality but it will do. I've sort of held off on development until beta 6 is released as my time is limited with a new move and some other things popping up.

I know you have held off! And me (and my users) are chomping at the bit for your next release! haha

seriously though, they like your skin better than tapatalk.

I would prefer a mobile Style vs an app, You could even have user-agent mapping to have multiple styles tailored to specific devices.
