Presuming you have one of the DP builds, yes. You can't delta update to the GM.My iOS 5 OTA is showing me as up to date. Wonder if I have to do it the old fashioned way?
I know. Its depressing. Because I don't know my Twitter password to reset up all that.Presuming you have one of the DP builds, yes. You can't delta update to the GM.
I'd like to know where you read that.. lolI got iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, but no Siri as that's only going to be on the 4S!
I'd like to know where you read that.. lol
I read, on the Apple site, that certain versions of the iPod touch and iPad can support it as well. Could have miss-read, though :/I read it via the reporting on the event from numerous sites, only the 4s has the power to support Siri.
am I the only on in this forum without an iphone
It needs the A5 processor to run, so can't run on any older iPhone models. As far as I'm aware it will also not run on the iOS5 update on the iPad 2, but I will be able to confirm this shortly.I'd like to know where you read that.. lol
iOS5 is compatible with:
iPhone 3GS,iPhone 4,iPhone 4S,iPod touch 3rd generation,iPod touch 4th generation,iPad,iPad 2
Took all of 5 minutes if you already had iOS 5 beta and let it push directly to the phone. It just sends deltas. So iOS 5 is released.
The download time for me is currently 67 minutes and counting upwards
Can y'all stop downloading for a second please? I'd love to have my copy first
Add me to that listQuite a few of my friends report back to me that they get errors during the initialization process of the phone. telling you to reconnect to iTunes, even though it is, and you have to start the whole thing over again. One person had to restore to factory to get access to the phone again.
Yikes.
+1Add me to that list
