On the Inbox popup menu, the date / time stamp is on the same line as the username and wraps if the username is too long:
However, on the Alerts popup menu, there is a line break after whatever text:
I would personally lean with adding a line break for the Inbox one (and removing the comma in the process, of course), as it would prevent those annoying situations (for some people, anyway) where you'll see this:
