XF 2.0 Importing users database from live to test...

I want to import my users database from my live forum to my test forum... Would just copying `xf_users` be enough? Or are there other tables I should do?

Also, what should I disable, to make sure no one gets emails, notifications, etc from this test forum?

Also, the users database is from XF1... and I want to import it into XF2.

$config['enableMail'] = false;

That will disable all outgoing emails.

Could you not just import only the users across to a fresh XF1 then do an upgrade to XF2?

For one, there's a lot of relational tables (xf_user_*) that you'd also have to copy, if this method were accurate, to ensure all the user data is copied over. I'm not sure if there would be any more tables/other data you'd also have to copy to maintain their records.

Why are you trying to just copy the users table over, rather than a copy of the forum as-is?
