XF 2.1 From Test To Live Question - Reimporting a database and mod setup

I've been working on a test build of Xenforo, working out the issues with importing our database from VB 5 to Xenforo 2.1 as well as configuring the theme and mods we would like to use. We are now in a place where we believe we've worked out all the issues (or at least have mitigated them).

Is there an easy or proper method to copy over the setup (ie: Can we remove the test database and re-import?) from our test install to a live install and then re-import the latest forum database? Or do we need to start from scratch and manually install again to what will be the "live" forums?
