If xenForo gets an official CMS; what should it be named?

CMS is a catch-all word.

Just articles would be a great thing! Even something relatively bare-bones. I don't mind supporting add-on authors, but they come and go and so I don't think I would trust a long term project to most of them (XF updates and they don't!).......

So, yeah, even an expanded version of the pages thing with editing instead of html, categories and then a few ways to "portal" them........

My old CMS is going to break one of these days on a php upgrade......

Take a look at @Brogan's Featured Threads add-on, it may do what you want particularly with what is coming in 1.4. I think Brogan will be around for a while. ;)

I thought we moved past the whole xenForo/XenForo debate (p.s. it's XenForo) o_O.

I think either XenForo CMS or XenForo Content Management.

I still think XenForo Content Manager has a better ring to it. Especially as one of the existing products is Resource Manager (as opposed to Resource Management).

And I don't think it would be appropriate to include the S or System as the "System" is the underlying XenForo framework, and that is already inferred by "XenForo" in the title.

I think we're in danger of overthinking this. I guarantee whatever it's called, XenForo will probably have spent seconds deciding, rather than the several days now we've been discussing it :D

I wouldn't pay $140 for CMS.
I'm guessing there are a lot of people who would, though. People have been asking for a fully integrated XenForo CMS since the beginning of XenForo.
I think half the price of XenForo, which would be $70, would be reasonable.
$70 is not bad, either. However, supply and demand seems to suggest that he could sell it for more if he chose to do so.
