How to install mods and add-ons

I am very impressed with the xenForo product. I have used "free" forum scripts and the issue I have is that it is very difficult to install mods and add-ons, often requiring me to edit code, and I know very little about code and have found it very difficult to install mods.

My questions is what steps are required to install add-ons? Is the process difficult, and will it require me to edit any code?

Is there a system like wordpress that allows automatic install of addon products?

    Thank you

The process is very straight forward.

    Upload Add-on contents to /library
Upload Add-on contents to /JS (some add-ons don't require an upload to JS this varies with each add-on)

Import xml file via the admincp. Job Down.

As Slavik noted, there is this tool you can use:

And basically it has something very similar to wordpress, you just put in the URL of the addon, and it will install it for you, much like the wordpress plugin manager :)
