XF 2.0 How do we do expression conditionals in widgets in Xenforo 2?

In Xenforo 1 with the Widget Framework, I use an expression

!empty($posts) && count($posts) > 2

to only show a sidebar widget when there are 3+ posts. Otherwise the sidebar is too tall and the page looks ugly.
Can this be done with the widgets in Xenforo 2?
