XF 2.2 Hide specific items in "What's New' section

Hi,

I would like to hide this highlighted section that appear in this section of the What's New page, when all comments in the article have been read (using Bob's AMS).

Is this possible using some kind of display condition? No need for it to keep showing there when it has been read.

I'd like to keep it to display unread comments, but disappear when a comment has been read

There's a reason it's referred to as Latest Article Comments and not New Article Comments.
The widget is written to display the most recent ones, and I'm pretty sure it's not tracking read/unread ones.
Maybe hit Bob up on his site and make a suggestion to add a widget to deal with the new comments that will keep track of read/unread?
