XF 1.2 Help with new discussion css

I have a small error in my css that is really annoying me and cant seem to find by inspecting the element where to fix the issue

I believe the discussion-new.png image is the problem you can see the image covering the n and a in the above image

looked through the css files but cant seem to find how I can reposition these

Direct link to the forum in question would be helpful - and I would suggest turning debug off unless you are using it.
