Currently i am using vB 3.8. and I have been planning to switch to the current XF version for a very long time. The only thing that prevents me is vB SEO and custom URLs I do not know how to adjust. I do not know how to customize the htaccess file.
Can somebody help me?

This is the structure of the current URLs:

Thread and forum URL:
https://www.domain.hr/forums-name-120/
https://www.domain.hr/forums-name-120/thread-title-421435/
https://www.domain.hr/forums-name-120/thread-title-421435/index19.html#post1557793

Do you know if your XF shares the same ids as the VB install did (normally it does)?

For example:

VBulletin
https://www.domain.hr/forums-name-120/
is the same in XF
https://www.domain.hr/forums/forums-name.120/

Let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

Hi. Thanks for replying.

Here's URL of thread in VB

https://www.domain.hr/subforum-name-177/thread-name-6/

XF URL of same thread after migration:

https://www.domain.hr/threads/thread-name.6/

After migration, the VB URL of thread returns 404

Okay, I can help with this. I just completed a vbSEO 3.8 to XF redirect setup for someone yesterday. It requires a combination of installing the VBulletin 3.8 redirect script in the resource section, plus I setup custom .htaccess rules and I have a set of php programs (there are several styles of vbSEO urls) I've written which handle vbSEO URLs, even those without IDs on them. If you're interested, send me a private conversation message.
