My question is as in the title: I want to deploy XenForo as a Headless CMS and build the interface entirely with Next.js.
We're currently working on systems that integrate WordPress features into XenForo, and our goal is to completely adapt the content management part to XenForo, allowing us to create a connection between the content and the community that feels natural.
I like building XenForo add-ons, but I prefer to use Next.js for the interface part of it. I know XenForo has a REST API system, but I'm not sure how much flexibility it gives me or how far I should extend the API system. I also need to write a separate API for other add-ons or my own add-ons to pass data to the interface, am I right?
I would be very grateful if anyone can share insights on this or if XF developers can share their ideas.
