Why did you change such a simple(useful modification) into almost a full blown different add-on?
I believe these threads in the RM are for discussion as well as support. I think it's fair enough for people to make comments on a resource, especially when changes are made to it. After all, it gives feedback to the author.
I do like it when resources are improved on and additional functionality is added. However in this case the new stuff bears no relation to the original purpose of this add-on which was simply to add an avatar to the last post. I don't need or want the extra functionality and also think it would have been better as a new add-on. Therefore I too won't be upgrading to this new version.
