XF 1.3 Forwarding

Basically, there is this one quite important post I have inside the announcements on my forums that I would like them to be able to go to through mydomain.com/changelog
Instead of mydomain.com/changelog-blah-blah.18318 (just random example)
I've seen it done on another forum were do this and when you go to /changelog it redirects you instantly to the original post. Not sure how tho might be very easy to do but im quite noobish at this.

You can do this with a route filter -- you can actually make /changelog be the canonical URL too, so no need to redirect. Just enter the find route as threads/thread-title.1234/ (adjust as necessary) and the replacement as changelog/ .
