XF 2.3 Masked domain forwarding & Licensing

I want to build a forum accessible by a domain, which I'll say is armor.com. (It is not that domain.) Many of my potential viewers might access the website through a different domain, which I'll say is armour.com. See the problem there, depending on location, people may use the different spelling.

I was thinking of setting up masked domain forwarding to armor.com with the forum running on it. Do I need a second license if they are pulling the same forum?

(Those were just example domains, but shows the problem I have and my possible solution.)

Thanks!

Need a 2nd license as it's a different domain.

It’s just the same as if you’d moved from one domain to another one, but redirect from the old one. We have such a redirect in place because it’s good SEO, as it is in this case if e.g. people misspell the name when providing links.

Having said that if there are backlinks that are spelled id contact them and try to get it corrected anyway.

Just set a redirection up on the variations of the domains so that they point to the main one. That way you can have as many domains as you want all pointing to the same.

The OP needs to decide which is his best domain name for his website and then all variations of the spelling whether they be UK, Dutch, German, Swazi, Latin, whatever, can then point to the one domain. It's not rocket science.
