Marinated roasted pork fillet with Italian roast veggies, and a touch of potato wedges ... cooks itself kids ;)

hahaha! I'll wait and see what it tastes like, but if chilli works in chocolate, I reckon marmite's in with a chance. :p

LOL chilli is very nice in chocolate, but marmite....eewwwwwww :p

Let us know what it was actually like :D

Well I wasn't hungry earlier so decided not to cook anything tonight but per usual I started getting peckish as time went on so decided to whip up a less than 10 minute snack of marmite spaghetti (thank you Nigella).

I took a pic out of habit but there's nothing to look at really.
I had only recently heard of pasta and marmite - been meaning to try it!

I've seen people eating Sicilian cheese infested with maggots, but I didn't feel compelled to try it. I'd feel much the same way about Marmite pasta! (Not actually sure which is worse...)
I'm thinking more people prefer to eat bugs than they do eating Marmite :p.

Last night I really wasn't much in the moood for cooking, so just made burgers, which is one of my standbys for when I really CBA - no new pic as you've seen them before :p

looked like this.. but no chips (fries)

Was very nice.

Today I have been putting my hand to Nigella again... Although not in the way I would like to put my hand to her.

Anyway first off, I made a Guinness & Ginger Cake.

And for the meal it was smoked haddock in a milk, butter and parsley sauce with a tomato and egg lobbed in accompanied with a couple of slices of crusty bread.

Very good Doctor :D The guinness and ginger cake looks amazing! Is that a Nigella recipe?

Yeah it's Nigella... Have I mentioned I love her?

Do you want me to post it?
Nigella Kitchen was on BBC2 tonight and she made the spaghetti and marmite!

I recently got her new book "Kitchen: Recipes From The Heart Of The Home" - it's a very chunky one compared to her usual books... I still haven't finished reading it! (Flicked through all the pretty pictures already though )

I love looking at food porn erm... I mean pictures from recipe books :p

Very inspiring I find, even if I don't actually follow recipes very often, I have an ever growing cookbook collection, for inspiration! :D

Mine grew so much it's currently residing in 15 boxes because I refuse to unpack it with NO place to put it. I inherited all my Mother's and have many from my paternal grandmother as well. Plus, I love to get new ones. My favorites are the Junior League cookbooks and the ones put together by churches. IF I collect too many more, my husband is gonna divorce me :) (Not really but he swore at them when moving those 15 boxes last summer)
