WOW so it is a thing then huh ...well smack me with an Emu, it's dinner time. :-)

There is definitely no Emu's around me -sans the Bronx Zoo
 
I think Dragonfly should tell us. They are from her country and she is obviously a good cook. :)

I still want to know about those Emu Bitters.

Here I am :p

You can eat Emu, in fact, quite horrifically you can eat our coat of arms.... Kangaroo and Emu :p

I dislike Kangaroo - way to dark and gamey for me.. and emu I have never tried, but it is not a common meat here, you have to go to a specialist store to find it :)

Emu Bitter is a brand of BEER :p
 
Well you could eat our coat of arms too for that matter as it can't fly .... however the Greenies'd be after ya like a shot!
 
I've had an Emu and Kangaroo Kebab - it's OK, but not something I would pick off a menu again. Emu Bitter isn't a brand of beer, Emu Bitter *is* Beer. Whatever you do, stay away from Speights Beer :blech:

Oh.....I always thought of that as the seal. Ok, i guess we do have a coat of arms.

Who knows, eagles might be tasty. The turkey would have been our symbol of Ben Franklin had his way.

I think the Presidential seal incorporates the USA coat of arms :)
