Food Fantasia

hehehe :D Well the skins will be ongoing for the foreseeable future, and plans would be made for the future of them if the day came I could no longer go do both :)

You could design websites in cake instead of pen/paper. I'm sure concept work would taste a lot better that way too. :p

I get sick for a few days and miss posts like this one! Thanks for posting, I will be trying that this fall.

As for cake decorating, as Cake Wrecks will show you, your first fondant attempt is already better than a lot of "professional" decorators!

No probs, sorry I should have quoted you when I posted so you got notified :) Hope you are all better now!

LOL hahahaha Cake Wrecks, yeah I have been on that site before and wasted many a mirthful hour looking over them :D hehehe

Well Thanks to Forsaken for this idea...

Garlic knots, made with left over pizza dough from Friday night.

Basically bits of the pizza dough, rolled in a mixture of olive oil, rock salt, fresh chopped rosemary, Parmesan cheese, and fresh minced garlic.. Oh nom nom nom!!!

It was a race if I could get the camera in time before they all disappeared!

You owe me the recipe!

They're actually suppose to be a bit smaller, but those work :p.

Next time I go to that Italian place (And hope stalker girl isn't there) I'll take a picture of the food (If it lasts that long).

hahaha.. there's your recipe "Basically bits of the pizza dough, rolled in a mixture of olive oil, rock salt, fresh chopped rosemary, Parmesan cheese, and fresh minced garlic."

Basic pizza dough recipe here... http://www.masalamojo.com/?p=123

Bit smaller you say? hmmm I tried to make them pretty small, but they did grow quite a bit in the oven, they would have been about 100mm (4 inches) long and 30mm (1 and a bit inches) wide.

How big are the ones at that restaurant?

About the size of a golf ball, they're kind of folded in on themselves so that you get some of the garlic and cheese in each bite.

Ahh.. soooo going to have to see that to know what you mean :p

Sorry to say young David, you are going to HAVE to run the gauntlet of Creepy stalker chicks and visit that restaurant for photos!

They're pretty good Peggy! I am sure your son would love them, mine demolished a plate of about 8-10 of them in very short time! lol

Easy to make too, once you have the pizza dough all done they are a cinch to knock together.

8lbs of BBQ chicken, 4lbs of baked potatoes, and a pound of steamed vegetables... sorry, no pics - it all evaporated in a few minutes. :)
