LOL well that's great that everyone enjoyed it!

You only need one teaspoon of yeast at the most, you can even use much less if you are not in a hurry, the more yeast the quicker and bigger the raise, sometimes I make a batch the day before, and only use a 1/4 teaspoon of yeast but it does need at least 18 hours to do it's thing when there is so little :) I think I might make a batch now for tomorrow night's pizza night!

Looking forward to seeing version two! :D

Here's my dinner for tonight :p

Fresh buns from the bakery.
Good burgers from the butcher.
Got cheese from the market,
and some fresh stuff like tomatoes and lettuce and what not.
Made a mayo-like sauce.

And got a collect call on the phone that I couldn't ignore, but kinda surprised me .. and burned the meat

But I turned the bun into a grilled cheese kinda thingy.

Damn that beef looks epic.

Epic it was, a great big slab of sirloin roasted - Fed 6 big eaters for Lunch on Sunday, then sandwiches for days, Roast Beef is about my fave roast, and we tend to do that when people are coming over for Sunday Lunch quite a bit, there is a good wholesale butcher near us, and this big slab of meat only cost $35 - it would have been 3 kilos I guess (6 pounds or so) and was super tasty, tender and juicy. When I lived in the city I used to pay $40 for one about a KG, so one good thing about living here is the cheaper meat! :D

Oh yum yums!

Lamb is my favourite but we don't often have that so cow is my second choice. Not too bothered about pig, it depends on the cut really, knuckle is my choice when we do have it.

The mention of "home-made sourdough" is what caught my attention! I don't have a beer-belly, I have a fresh-baked-bread-with-a-crock-of-butter-belly. :D

Oh my! Fresh bread and butter is seriously my major weakness LOL I make bread quite a lot, at least once a week I will make a loaf, sourdough is a PITA to keep the starter happy and healthy, but when it all works out it is great!

I am right now about to make a loaf of Russian black bread, never made it before, so should be interesting! :D

I like lamb only if it has masses of garlic and herbs, or has been marinated in something delicious - just plain lamb though, not something I do very often.

Hubster would eat Piggy every time if it was up to him, but I prefer Beef or Chicken (but no one thinks chicken is special anymore, I still adore it myself!)
