XF 2.2 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500

In short I encounter this error while posting a new thread. I would like to know if it is probably a server security mod error or what it could be.

So once I click the button to publish the new thread I get the 500 error and don't proceed further, but when I go to look at the latest posts I see that the thread has been posted correctly.

host support says no errors are seen from the server:

Unfortunately, there are no server logs related to that issue. As an option, I advise you to try changing the PHP version for your website...

Same response with different browsers?
I've seen this error message pop in discussions about extensions in Google chrome.
I don't think it's mod_security if the post is actually getting posted, it just looks like your browser is getting cutoff by something else. (either client side or server side, but not specific to XF I believe)

I haven't tried with different browsers. I noticed that if I post with my account I have no problems. When I use the secondary account to post official content I have this problem.
