Thank you for reporting this issue, it has now been resolved. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future XF release (2.2.5).

Change log:

Limit the width of embedded Facebook content to be consistent with other embeds.

There may be a delay before changes are rolled out to the XenForo Community.

Also wondering why you see a link a few seconds before the embed.

The embed happens via Facebook after the page has loaded. There's no guarantee that the embed actually works, so the link is there to provide an alternative should it fail. You'll see similar things with other embed services that work similarly (Twitter most significantly).
