Facebook recommends only show up when comment is made

Hi. As the subject states the facebook recommends that I do from XenForo only show up in my Facebook timeline when I make a comment. Sending a recommend without a comment results in no info in my timeline. Why is that?

I got it sorted out after some troubleshooting. I forgot to mention that it was my new platform I'm working on that had these issues.

Hello, seem to be experiencing a similar issue. Can you advise what you did to resolve this?

To get a post to show without a comment have to go into my facebook 'all activity' page and manually change post setting from 'allowed on timeline' to 'shown on timeline'. With a comment it just works although it is set to 'allowed on timeline'.

Guess this maybe an issue at the facebook end..
