XF 1.5 Error the requested page could not be found

So I used this guide: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/how-to-add-a-new-tab-in-the-navbar.7781/ to make an 'applications' tab on my navbar and I am not sure how to edit whats on the page, so when you click that directory, it says;

Error - The requested page could not be found

PS I have the latest version of XF not sure if that is 1.5, sorry and thanks for understanding.

What is the exact code you have added to the template?

If you have an add-on which has an applications route then you can use:

<a href="{xen:link applications}" class="navLink">Applications</a>

Otherwise you can use an absolute URL, for example:

<a href="http://www.mysite.com/applications.html" class="navLink">Applications</a>

That's because http://prisonbreach.com/applications.html doesn't exist as a page.

What are you trying to do exactly?

You can only link a tab to a page which exists.

I would like to make a specific forums page -- like the forums but just for applying for staff.

If it's for a specific forum, you can get the forum URL and use that.
