Error: Cannot connect to Facebook

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a new forum using XenForo, and am having issues with the Facebook integration.

When I run the diagnostics tool within the admin cp, I get the following error:

Error​

Your server could not connect to Facebook (https://graph.facebook.com). Try again later. If the issue persists, contact your host.​

Under what circumstances would this error message appear? I believe that the application ID is setup correctly, and the board URL is specified both within the admin cp and within the Facebook application settings - and as the error message is being thrown by XenForo and not Facebook I'm guessing this might be an issue with Curl / HTTPS?

This is an issue if you don't have cURL with HTTPS support (or don't have HTTPS support in your PHP itself). Both generally depend on OpenSSL.
