XF 2.3 Embeddding

Tried with them both turned off and it was the same. Btw should the bottom one be ticked as default? I can;t remember now it's unticked.

heh. i am seriously confused now. i cannot turn off embeds on my own site. i cannot turn them off on a demo site. i am currently reading through the announcement post to see if i missed something. based on demo install, it is off by default.

yeah file a bug report. i really cannot find anything on another setting for disabling local embedding. definitely sounds like a bug. but someone would have noticed this by now!

AFAIK local embedding can't be disabled.

This option does not disable intenal embedding, it just controls auto URL conversion.

Manually embedding via [embed] would still work even if this option is turned off.

ah. well i guess that's good decision as disabling it later would kill existing embeds? but it does solve the main issue for OP
