Won't fix Double preview with new posts

2.1 Beta 4 (or whatever is currently here)

If you click the New posts button, open one of the threads in a new window before the preview is shown, then close the window the thread preview comes up. Hover on another thread and a second preview is shown under the first...



This is with Firefox 63.0.3 on a linux system.

The same general thing happens with Chrome, but the second preview is on top of the first one.

I was able to reproduce this with Firefox, though not with Chrome. With Chrome, when my mouse re-entered the window, it closed the original preview. I would guess this was triggering the mouseleave event, though I haven't confirmed that.

We did have a fix for this but unfortunately it caused issues elsewhere so we've had to roll it back. Our cogs are turning, but it is possible there might not be a reasonable fix for this issue.
