XF 2.2 Do banned users receive conversation emails?

I have a question for which I have not been able to find an answer, here or elsewhere.

If a user was part of a conversation and was then subsequently banned by way of the admin panel, will that person still get emails reflecting subsequent activity in the conversation?

There is an add-on to kick members from conversations.
