So I messed up and migrated my data to cloudfare with the wrong directory. I didn't put /data/ as the directory. So my prefix is not /data/assets/, /data/attachments, /data/videos/. It's just /assets/, /attachments/, /videos/

Does anyone know how to fix this? I don't have access to the files anymore, everything is uploaded to cloudflare and deleted from origin server. Is there a way to download my cloudfare bucket and reupload with the correct prefix? So I can make it /data/ and upload the content correctly? My videos/avatars and anything in my data folder is now broken because its not prefixed correctly in cloudflare.

What do you mean prefixed? There shouldn’t be a “data” prefix on anything.

I have a total of 360GB of files. When using AWS S3, I use the same bucket to complete the work. When I transfer online through the CloudFlare R2 transfer tool, it is all transferred to one bucket, but I use it again. The tool divides data and internal-data into two storage buckets.

I encountered the same problem as this friend. The split data and internal-data both look like this (same picture)
Data bucket:/data/avatars/h/0/1.jpg
Normal browsing is https://cdn.example.com/avatars/h/0/1.jpg
But mine needs to be used to browse normally https://cdn.example.com/data/avatars/h/0/1.jpg

Just one piece of data occupies about 120GB in size, and it is impossible to process these things manually.
I also tried to use FileZilla Pro to connect to CloudFlare R2 for movement, but the result was a failure.

I had no choice but to come up and ask for help, hoping that someone could help me.
(Sorry, I am from Taiwan and can only translate through Google. I hope you can understand.)

To fix mine, I had to redo it all. I think my mistake was going through cloudflare online to manually create the bucket, instead of having this app do its job. So I went ahead and deleted everything and started from scratch. I went through the app to create the bucket, subdomain and all that. I then did the migration after that. Also making sure the external data url (ACP -> set up -> options -> cloudflare -> scroll to bottom to find) is the url of the subdomain the app created.

Also important to purge cache from your ACP.

If you are kind of newer to migration, you can ask your host to do it (if you have a managed server). Knownhost is absolutely amazing and helped me with the migration of all my data to cloudflare.

Mashing two buckets used for different purposes, is a really bad idea. It would be the same as someone wanting to merge the internal_data directory with the data directory. Yes, you could technically do it, but it's a bad idea. The data directory (and bucket) is exposed to the world for public access without authentication. The internal_data directory (and bucket) doesn't allow public access. Merging the two and then giving that single bucket a public domain means you are letting anyone access private things (this isn't everything, just some):

• attachments (for example one sent privately in direct message)
• sitemaps
• encryption keys (this is a big one)

There is no situation where merging private data into a public bucket is a good idea (just like merging the internal_data folder into the public data folder).

Yes, you could probably force it to work if somehow you were limited to a single bucket in your life (but you can have up to 1,000,000 buckets for no cost). But it's a very bad idea... and I can't think of a single reason why someone would want to make all the private data public by putting it in your publicly accessible bucket.

There is redis on the server. Is it a problem to have redis cache and this together?

Anyone else having problems with viewing some of the (webp) images hosted on R2? When I disable the CF proxy everything works perfectly but with it enabled about 5-10% of images is not showing...

When I edit a post where the image is broken, I can see the attached image but the image in the message is broken. When I remove the broken image and re-attach the image to the post, everything works okay...

Hard to say without seeing an example and looking at the HTTP headers for the things not working. Have you done anything with attachments that would cause them to change (for example convert them from one image format to another)?

Currently CF proxy is off because of the problems. Will re-enable it to investigate further. No, images are converted to webp by XF itself, no additional tooling/conversion (also not by CF)

You need your domain/zone to be in your Cloudflare account in order to use this addon. Is that the question? The addon will give you a direct link to create API key (easiest thing to do is click it).
