[DigitalPoint] App for Cloudflare®

[DigitalPoint] App for Cloudflare® 1.9.1.1

No permission to download
I guess you could download them all to a computer and use rclone. But there isn’t going to be an easy way direct from the server if you don’t have CLI access to the server.

Another question, after the migration and configuration with this attachment, the attachments still show&load with the old URL (in xenforo attachments), and not the cloudflare attachment url.

this may be a dumb question, but after all my files get migrated to cloudflare, so I delete the hosted files on my server?
You can, yes.

Attachment URLs remain the same.

Anyone else having problems with viewing some of the (webp) images hosted on R2? When I disable the CF proxy everything works perfectly but with it enabled about 5-10% of images is not showing...

I have a folder for data which has attachments an internal data that has attachments too. Does cloudflare host them both? Can I delete the attachments in internal data?

The labels for the R2 buckets tell you what they are for.

R2 for /data/

R2 for /internal-data/attachments/

One bucket is for the contents of your data folder (in your XenForo installation). The other is for the contents of the internal_data/attachments folder (the folders within those paths are irrelevant).

If you are using R2, and you have fully migrated the files from your internal_data/attachments folder to the bucket for internal-data/attachments, yes, you can remove the internal_data/attachments folder.

If I'm moving to R2, do I need a separate bucket for data, attachments, and xfmg? I'm assuming so because it's not letting me select the same bucket.

Files in data are publicly accessible. This includes things like avatars and thumbnails that are shown automatically.

Files in attachments are not publicly accessible - they must be served by the forum so that permissions can be applied.

This is why you need separate buckets - the permissions on the buckets will be different.

Yeah, just looking around I noticed that they all have "Public URL Access: Not allowed", but the /data/ buckets have the domain access, so I assume that's the difference. This is my first time ever even playing with R2 so I've got a lot to learn before I think about moving my main site over. I've always been afraid of moving everything over just because I'm over-the-top extra with backups and, with this, I'd basically be giving up control over the backups on all that data to Cloudflare. It would save me from having huge daily backups, though, so I'll see how it goes on this little site. Learn over time, etc.

The main thing is finding out if I could still make it work in case this add-on was ever no longer available. I don't see a way to download the entire bucket from Cloudflare to upload it back to my server if I ever needed to do that, even if only temporarily, so that's a bit of a concern to me too.

Any S3 compatible tool will do the job.

rclone is a great command line tool. I've also used CloudBerry Explorer in the past as a UI tool. Those are just two examples - there are lots of these tools available now.

@digitalpoint has a CLI tool built into this addon which can do the transfers for you - used to transfer data to R2, but can also reverse the process and download it back to your server.

Thank you for the info! Like I said, I definitely have a lot to learn, but this at least gives me things to focus my sights on.
