Is there any way to get the free demo to use XenForo 1 instead of XenForo 2?

XenForo 2 looks so horrible.

I prefer to use the demo in 1 instead.

If it looks horrible then you'd perhaps be best off starting by looking for styles that make it look less horrible.

If you can't find one, and don't want a custom one created for your needs, then XenForo might not be for you, ultimately. XF1 now has a limited lifespan so we wouldn't recommend starting a new forum on it.

What do you mean "limited"? I thought it was always going to be available for download. I hope it stays available for download until the end of May. That's my birthday. When I get money.

It will most likely be available for download for the foreseeable future. What Chris means by "limited lifespan" is that support for XenForo 1.x is nearing the end. Right now, XenForo 1.x will only get bug fixes and security releases, no new features. Eventually XenForo 1.x will be declared End of Life and won't get any updates including bug fixes and security releases.

When XenForo 1.x is declared End of Life, they may remove all downloads for it.

Regarding the look, there are MANY themes available from high quality designers such as ThemeHouse and PixelExit, as well as many others.
As Chris has mentioned, its worth taking a look at the various 2.x styles in the Resource section. https://xenforo.com/community/resources/categories/styles-2-x.45/

No. They won't remove all downloads XenForo 1.X.

It's your choice for XenForo 2.0 right. @Nightgazer Starlight and me, any people who using XenForo 1.5.x would be still staying than never use to 2.x, cause a choice.

Any people own want choice XenForo 1.5 OR 2.0.

As you can see vBulletin was still keeping to update bugs major, security fix only on vBulletin 4.x. But not a feature.

@Chris D , If possible when you make for layout demo webpage with XenForo 1.5.18 and XenForo 2.0.4 choice from everyone test?
