The ban and content pruning can be done with the spam cleaner, but the IP ban must be done separately in the Admin CP.

Stupidly thought id started a live board and well 2 days later 2 real members compared with 32 spammers.. just about died when i saw that.. Thanks for the advice

@Jake Bunce is it possible to to use addon like image captcha with question and answers verification TOGETHER?

That is very effective because the robot has to guess two answers..and their random method to keep trying until lucky gets quite hard.

In the default software, you can only choose one of the built in systems. You'll need an add-on to use more than one.
