I guess this is a bug? I have checked notify new threads only, but it shows notification for all the replies as well in the chat window.

It is not working for me.

I don't believe those features are restricted to the Pro version. The browser will ask you to allow desktop notifications, if that doesn't happen and there's no JS errors then it may be a Pro-only feature.
