    Hello,

we came from vbulletin and our users are strongly used to expect the posting date ABOVE the posting text.

Lots of our users complain about the XenForo date BELOW the posting. There are hacks and ideas to change it, but please:

Create an option in XenForo 2.0 to set the posting date optional above the posting like in the good old times in vbulletin.

    Kind regards,
    Frank

Ummm, why not stay with vbulletin if you want vbulletin?

Did I write "I want vBulletin"?
I only forwarded a major user complaint.

You could edit templates to accomplish this pretty easily. I don't think it needs to be an option in core.

I agree with Jeremy. We've done this on our site, and I'd be happy to help if you end up making a support thread.

There's a pretty good, robust template system in place that gives you the freedom to do this. Putting options in for all the different varieties seems silly... Might as well create a drag & drop message interface that let's you rearrange the post items!
