I'm very new to XF so please bear with me. In order to install this addon, do I just replace the LIBRARY folder in the zip file with the LIBRARY folder on my server?

You merge the contents, not replace.

Drag the library folder to where XF is installed using your FTP application and it will add the directories and files.

So when I drag the add on's LIBRARY folder, I'll be overwriting some of the files in my existing LIBRARY folder, correct?

No addon or style made for XF1 will work on XF2.

Also in 2019 very nice;
it misses the responsive part,

Now two boxes are floated left, right and the middle one is not floated.

for example, give them all a float left and move the boxes in the correcht sort 1,2,3 in template custom_footer
