CTA Featured Threads & Portal

CTA Featured Threads & Portal [Paid] 2.17.0

No permission to buy (£40.00)
The slider isn't intended to replicate the thread content.

It is primarily visual, with an image as the main content and a small snippet of the thread text overlaying it at the bottom.

That is the typical use of image sliders.

Hi @Brogan, I set only one ad for cta_featuredthreads_featured_list_item_below but there are 2 ads showing.

This is happening even with the default style.

You wrap the ad code in the conditional statements, if you are using the built in templates.
I can't comment on any third party ad serving add-ons though and whether it would work.

I would love this more if you could feature a specific post form within a thread. Or can you already do that with this?

I know there is an addon that does that, however I would be concerned about potential conflicts with this addon.

It would require more development to be able to feature specific posts.

The add-on is structured around featuring threads.

Thank you Brogan. By the way, how can I disable the visitor panel on the sidebar?

I would like to make this addon viewable to guests and or members only - all the while, making my forum viewable to members only. Is this possible? With our leagues it is critical to know who's active by way of 'signing in' to the forum showing their activity during the season. As it stands currently, there's no need to sign in due to the addon forcing the forum to be made public. I hope there is a way - if not, I may end up having to ditch the addon - which I really do not want to do. Thanks -

If guests can't view the forum then they won't be able to view anything which is built on top of it, including this add-on.

From my CTA Featured Threads & Portal (which is my home page).

Can "New Posts" be on the forum page as well as on the Home Page
