You need to add an image to the slider or have it set so that the first attached image is used for the slider. Also this won't apply to existing featured threads, you'll need to update these to show the slider.

There are already images set for Featured Thread so we shall see as soon as a new thread is created.

There is no automatic function but you can manually share each one, or use the RSS feed as discussed on the previous page.

Unfortunately I'm out of the country until next week so don't have access to anything other than a tablet and very patchy wifi.

@clove28 you may need to try uninstalling and reinstalling.

@Bob_R your upgrade has more or less completely failed.
It's fixable but not from where I currently am as I don't have access to the code or queries.
You could uninstall and reinstall but you would lose all archived featured threads, trophies, etc.

I got it working!!

I followed these instructions:

Important Information
There will be errors generated and pages may fail to load after uploading the files and prior to importing the .xml file.
Once the .xml file is imported, the errors should cease.
If they don't, go to Options -> CTA Featured Threads and just save (there is no need to change anything).
Any such errors can then be safely deleted from the log.

How can I ensure that the slider is working. Someone submitted a thread (with a poll) but I do not see the slider.

Glad to hear it's resolved.
I've been trying to get a connection for the past 30 minutes.

The slider just requires the options and style properties set and a thread promoted to the slider.
An image must be selected/uploaded for the thread to display in the slider.
