Hi Brogan,

Is it possible to show the featured threads archives pages on the homepage for users to click on? I mean where it will show the pages numbers to go to the previous page of the archive?

For instance:

- Articles

page 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

So you could click on the next page of where the previous articles are at in the archive.

If this is not possible immediately from the cta featured threads options, is there a way I can do this when some custom template editing?

Thanks.

The only link to the archive page is in the navigation.

If you want an additional link on the portal page, you could manually add one.

No problem. I thought this was the case but I wasn't sure.

I wanted to request maybe adding this as a new feature in future updates. I think that XenPorta 2 actually has this feature. Only because I've seen it on other sites that I believe use XenPorta 2.

You may want to consider adding it in the future and connecting the featured threads archive to the homepage outside the navigation link.

Anyways I appreciate your help and glad you cleared that up.

Good evening @Brogan ,
I have a question for you. I would like to have the avatar or icon in a block to the left. What I mean by that is whatever how long is the text, I don't want my text to continue under my avatar or icon. I made a screen shot of what I try to accomplish.
Also, I would like to place the Author and date under my avatar or icon.

I don't seems to be able to figure out how to do so, could you help me?
Forgive my poor english :(

Thank you for your time

Hi Brogan,

Automatic featuring is enabled but there are no threads being displayed. Any ideas why they aren't displayed?

There are many forums selected to automatically feature (they just don't show up in the screenshot)

I can only assume none of the threads meet the criteria.

Automatic featuring works in all my testing.
There is no creteria selected (that's why I sent you the screenshot)

There are also many threads and posts in those forums:

As I said, automatic featuring works in all of my tests.

I can only assume the settings are incorrect for the threads you wish to feature.

If no criteria was selected (apart from the forums) all threads should be featured and there are threads in those forums as you can see in the screenshot.

What else should I try?

Has the cron had time to run?

Has anyone visited the site to trigger the cron?

Are there any errors in the log?
