I use chrome but the member who asked was using firefox and actually wanted it to. This way he knows when to tab back.

Eh that doesn't really help with the sound thing Plus you can;t toggle that sadly. So it would be for every user.

The reason the sound doesn't play is because if you have opened 2 or more pages where the chat is enabled (all pages mode), you will get sound notifications from every tab and that won't be nice.

Improvements

Version 1.18.2 comes with some improvements for bot responses and a new style property.

I've added the option to trigger responses by exact keyword match or partial match.

Also you can choose to include or not the username of the user who triggered the response.

Bot responses can be created from Admin > Home > Chat > Bot Rersponses
You need to globally enable bot responses from chat admin options too.

A new style property has been added for tagged messages.

Yeah that would suck big time. How does facebook manage it? Gotta be a way to make it only ping once.

Question, for the archive, anyway to reverse the order? So it scrolls downward? Going up in page number versus down and not having to read bottom to top?

I just realised something, which i don´t know, if it is wanted.

When i logg off the chat, i still stay in the chat and can read, what the other people write. In my case, the users realy disagree with this situation. When someone loggs off, he should not be able to read on.

Another thing is the "popup". This sign in the Footer. At PC i don´t see it, like it is saied in the options (i think ) But at iPad i have it. At Android People have it, depending on the Browser.

@tr1age, I think I can make the sound play only on one of the inactive tabs but it will require an extra database query per chat refresh.
@DivokyMuz, how users will engage in conversations if they can't see the discussions? I think it's more user friendly this way. The logout function removes you from the chatters list.
@zipporah, there are 2 ways. First is to use the ban option from chatters list user menu. The second is to use the option on the banned list.

Yes, but they still can read everything in the chat. Our users don´t like it this way, they don´t like, somebody only reading, what other people write. When they want to be in the chat, they should be inside and seen by others, and not like "Big Brother" outside and reading.

Then make it when someone logs out of the sign they can't see chat. The feature in the chat is just to remove your name from the list. I don't quite get why it even exists to be honest, but yeah there is your option.

Yeah honestly this is a not a priority on my list. I'll just disable it so people can't even see it.
