Changing Email Address

I have a S. Mod. on my forum that has to change his email address. Does this mean he will have to re-register or will he just have to re-confirm who he is.

Once he changes his e-mail address he will be sent a new e-mail confirmation. His account won't be valid again until he confirms his e-mail address.
