the current wording "Download Not Available" is kinda misleading since the Resource is actually available..... the "guest" just needs to register at the Forum in order to download the Resource.

So in fact the Resource is indeed "available".

It may still not be able to be downloaded after logging in.

So the button text is potentially misleading.

If the Resource is "still not available" after logging-in, then the Button might show another text (once you are logged-in).
Meaning: when you are indeed "logged-in", then the Button-text could show some other text.

Well, if I am a visitor and reading the button-text "Not Available", then I am confused as to why this Resource is "not available".
The Resource seems to be "Not Available". But why is it not available ??? Nobody knows.

In case of Xenforo.com, if a "non-licenced" user is logged-in.... then the orange-colored Download-Button could simply have the wording "XF Licence Required".

Honestly, it's fine the way it is.

I agree, I get questions about "not available" every now and again as well.

Just change the phrase accordingly to something your users will understand.
